Accordion
The accordion is a musical instrument with keys in its right side, bellows in the middle, which expand and contract according to the player’s movement, and bass buttons on the left side.
The accordionist plays the melody on the keys with his rights hand and accompanies with his left on the bass buttons and expanding or contracting the bellows. Sound is produced by the flow of air created by the expansion and contraction of the bellows, which vibrates the metal pallets corresponding to the different notes.
The accordion is flexible as an instrument and can be incorporated in many musical genres. The study of the accordion is not State-recognised.
